M.I.B. turns 5!

I will interrupt my posts on the 2014 Baseball Trip for some important news. It’s hard to believe that five years ago today, Minoring In Baseball was created, and the first post was written. This blog has been a great hobby, and I’m very thankful for MLBlogs and the opportunity to share my baseball adventures with everyone. I’ve made some great friends on this network, and have seen some great blogs come and go over the years. When contemplating how to celebrate this milestone, the only thing that felt right is a simple thank you to everyone who has ever stopped by and read a blog, or checked out the game photos over the last five years. Here’s a photo of the kids and I from back in 2009:

familybumsA lot has happened since that time, and we’ve really accomplished a lot together, and the kids have grown so much. I’m also very thankful to have the opportunity to spend this time with my kids and my dad, and to build some great memories and family moments through baseball. Thank you again to all my friends on MLBlogs, to Mark for keeping this network running, and to all the bloggers past and present I’ve had the pleasure to interact with the last five years! I look forward to many more.

Happy Birthday Minoring in Baseball! My blog turned one on May 9th which coincidentally was the day I attended MLB’s 19th Perfect Game in Oakland! But five years is really AmAzing! Congrats! Your blog is great and I’m excited to explore it more!! 🙂
