2012 in review
The kids and I had a great time in 2012, and really look forward to 2013. This years’ baseball trip will take us to North Carolina, where we have 12 games planned in just one week! We hope to see the Bulls, Dash, Drive, Knights, Grasshoppers, and Intimidators in action. Before that, though, we plan on attending the ‘Crosstown Showdown’ in Lansing, MI, with the LugNuts defending their home field against the Michigan State Spartans. Trevor’s a Sparty, so this is a game he really wanted. We have plans for the other teams in Michigan, too, including the Beach Bums, Loons, Whitecaps, and BC Bombers. Thanks you again to all who have stopped by M.I.B., and all the best to you in 2013!
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 20,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 5 Film Festivals
12 games in 1 week is extremely impressive. How are you going to do that?
-Danny
Danny-we’re lucky to find a few days where we can hit two games. Weather permitting, the trip should go pretty smoothly!

Nice. Congrats on the big year. Durham has a very nice ballpark. I went to 3 games there in 2009 when I went to Durham, North Carolina to visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins. It’s a nice atmosphere there and the people and staff there are very nice. Hope you have a nice time at the Bulls game. Good luck with blogging in 2013!

Quinn-thank for the Bulls info. It’s a ballpark I’ve really wanted to visit for some time. All the ballparks in NC look really nice, too. Good luck to you in 2013, also, and nice profile pic!
-Mike
Haha thanks. I just googled my name when I was looking for a profile picture and decided to use the picture that you took of Danny and I. Do you care if I use it? I was meaning to ask you but never came around to it.

No, the pic is no problem. It just took me a minute to realize why it looked so familiar, lol.

Ok, cool. Thanks. Happy 2013 almost!

Thank you, Kristen! Happy New Year to you and Seth, too. I’m looking forward to this trip a lot, and hoping for nice weather. Again, the season just can’t start early enough, now that 2013 is upon us. Looking forward to all the great pics and post at TIAVSG, too!!!!
